About Darrin T. Mish

I'm a tax lawyer serving St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Largo, and all of Pinellas County. I've been fighting the IRS since 1998. In 32 years, I've resolved over $100 million in tax debt for people who owe money they can't pay, haven't filed in years, or are facing levies, liens, and garnishments they don't know how to stop.

Before tax law, I was a public defender. That experience shaped everything about how I practice: outwork the other side, find the weakness in their position, and use an opponent's aggression against them.

Pinellas County sits in the Sixth Judicial Circuit. Bankruptcy cases go through the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division. IRS cases are handled out of the Tampa office. Outside the Office

I live on a cattle farm outside Tampa with my wife Heather, who competes in ranch riding. I collect vintage air-cooled Volkswagens. I host a podcast about IRS tax resolution. The IRS is stressful enough without dealing with a faceless corporation.
